Jade & William - Wedding Videography (Hunters Hall, Norfolk)
Race Wedding Videography's latest wedding video, set in the heart of Norfolk's rural countryside, visits Hunters Hall, which features a rustic Victorian Barn with exposed oak beams and brickwork for a historic and romantic atmosphere. Now it's time to press play for plenty of beautiful Norfolk countryside, agricultural charm, some luxurious wedding cars, x1 vicar and yep…a great love story of Jade & William
Weddings and Wedding Videography at Hunters Hall
Although Norfolk is known for many things, including its 90 miles of coastline, the Norfolk Broads, nature reserves, and charming market towns, Hunters Hall is located in the heart of the county and represents agricultural Norfolk at its finest. This family-owned wedding venue (managed by Matthew and Jenny) has a rustic/farm feel to it, with a few ancient estate buildings thrown in for good measure. The Victorian barn serves as a backdrop for the wedding ceremony and can also be used for the reception. There are exposed oak beams and bricks for a historic and romantic atmosphere, and the venue can accommodate up to 130 people.
While you are here, you might want to watch another Hunters Hall Wedding Video too…
There's also the Starlit Barn, which has been refurbished to combine the old and new. With its drapery by means of a starlit ceiling and enormous chandeliers, you'd never guess it was a barn, and there were no farm animals in sight - just plenty of great food and drink. Which is what a wedding reception and wedding breakfast are all about.
Travelling in style and have booked some fab Wedding transport? See how this can be part of your Wedding Videography….
If you have booked some great Wedding Transport as Jade & William did with our friends at Celebration Cars & Events this can look really great on your wedding video. Jade & William booked the beautiful Asquith Mascot 8 Seater Wedding Bus, which features cream chesterfield style seats, cream roof panels and varnished wood. Plus they also travelled in the opulence of the Phantom Rolls Royce Wedding Car, finished in pearlescent white, with its luxurious soft cream leather seats and veneer throughout. So to say the wedding party travelled in style is well, a massive understatement.
Although (like most) Wedding days are manic in terms of wedding videography, I did manage to squeeze in some great drone wedding videography and shots of the wedding cars arriving at Hunters Hall. Nothing was staged - this was as it happened. Seeing the wedding cars arrive from above gave a real sense of arrival and sets the scene for the wedding reception and of course celebrations at Hunters Hall in the Norfolk countryside.
Benefits of drone videography in wedding videography
With many wedding videos being stuck in the 1990s with dreary production, overpriced rates, and standard video camera gear that is very much 'down to earth'....as in......' on the ground', a drone at your wedding is a no-brainer, right? If you are going to pay a wedding videographer you need to be asking the questions "do you use drones in your wedding videos?" and secondly "do you have an Operational Authority issued by the Civil Aviation Authority?
A drone video adds a whole new perspective and vantage point to your day. Now of course you don't want a whole wedding video of aerial shots, of course, a wedding video has many key ingredients like your granny's favourite cake recipe. It's about capturing all the special moments, emotions and embraces, with contemporary camera equipment, creative thought, great editing, and music, giving its overall style and feel to the video. However, using odd drone shots in a tasteful way to set the scene of the church or in more recent times a rustic barn in the depths of the Norfolk countryside will make the world of difference. Lastly, unlike many wedding videographers, drone videography is included in Race Wedding Videography’s offering.
What permissions, documents and insurances will my wedding venue require to allow a drone at our wedding?
This is a really great question, one which comes up an awful lot! Most wedding venues are now used to having a drone at their wedding venues and are very welcoming but will no doubt have to do some due diligence and will want copies of documents sent across before the wedding date.
Wedding venues will usually require the following;
A valid Operational authorisation issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (or C.A.A). This authorisation is reissued annually upon receipt of satisfactory documents, insurance and flight logs.
Copy of drone specific insurance and risk assessments
They may want to have a meeting prior to the wedding day to go over any questions they may have to ensure the safety of guests, team members, estate buildings and neighbours to the wedding venue etc
Some venues may require a flight plan, this will show where the drone operator intends to fly on the day (this isn’t very common but has been known)
