Emma & Zoe - Wedding Videography (Glen Lodge - Norfolk)
In the midst of a busy and manic August of weddings and love, I was lucky enough to be invited to film the wedding of the lovely Emma & Zoe at Glen Lodge in Norfolk with its magnificent suspended decking overlooking Bawburgh Golf Course. So be fore! I hack out the the golf puns (see what I did there?), lets see why this wedding video was a hole in one… (OK it happened again)…
Wedding Videography & Weddings at Glen Lodge in Norfolk
A great first visit for Race Wedding Videography to this fab venue. The main wedding venue The Barnard Suite is very much self-contained with everything all in place. The outside area and views are amazing and with the view of a tree-lined golf course certainly transports you somewhere else, it almost felt like New Hampshire or if I was filming a wedding in Northern America. The interior of Glen Lodge has a very new, clean and modern feel to it with lots of light, white space and glazing whilst also in the same breathe feeling very rustic and earthly with lots of oak timber, wooden floors and rustic stone wall. The venue opened in only three years ago after lots of extensive investment and building work and the hard work has certainly paid off. The veranda decking area overlooks the golf course and the Yare Valley. Check out the drone wedding videography shots to see what I mean!
Next door to the main wedding venue is the golf clubhouse which is great for guests to explore plus the outside area has a great feel to it to relax and chill with a drink or canape! The wedding venue has a guest capacity of 100 people seated (outdoor or indoor) and boasts a PA system for ceremony music, up to 100 chairs for wedding guests, a private room for meeting with the registrars and is of course a fully licensed ceremonial venue. From a wedding videographer’s point of view, I found some great spots to film some epic shots as the sun was setting. The team actually help organise this too, by way of some golf buggies (don’t worry you don’t have to play golf!) The Glen Lodge team also helped myself and the wedding photographer by way of safely escorting us to some great picturesque spots at certain points on the golf course, including some ponds, some heathland looking into the setting sun and lots of tree-lined backdrops - which is really helpful and handy and shows how committed the Glen Lodge team are too making your wedding day perfect. Of course, don’t take my word for it on the beauty of the backdrop - just hit play on Emma & Zoe’s wedding video highlights trailer above!
Wedding accommodation wise you are in for a treat too! From Emma & Zoe’s Wedding Video you will see some shots of Emma getting ready in the Woodlands Suite. High up on a hill, Glen Lodge’s Woodland Suite boasts great views, a decking, hot tub, modern interior with the feel of rustic timber log cabin/ lodge! The other good news is it overlooks Glen Lodge, the golf course and is next door to the wedding venue, so its not far to travel to your wedding ceremony! So all in all a great magical wedding and that’s enough talking from me just watch the wedding video, this says it all, enjoy!

Glen Lodge Wedding Videography Review from Emma & Zoe Gibbons
‘‘Well what can I say, Ben was and is totally amazing, he is such genuine, calming and so easy to get along with gentleman. We had the pleasure of having Ben video and play a special part of our day, in August at Glen Lodge. When my partner suggested a videographer I couldn’t think of anything worse than seeing myself on a screen, but I love every minute he captured for us, and he captured everything, his work is totally amazing and so is he, and I would recommend him to everyone, his work is of the highest quality worth every penny xx ‘‘
