Kayleigh & Jamie - Norfolk Wedding Videography

The best wedding videography should always represent the individual tale of love of the bride and groom. Now, meet the amazing Kayleigh & Jamie who throw a party in their back garden like no other I have ever seen before with a farming and agricultural theme (cue tractor ride for the bride and groom), a wedding day oozing love and an epic party. Let’s check it out this latest Norfolk wedding video and see some wedding video drone shots that would rival Clarkson’s Farm any day…

Why rocking a marquee in your own garden & grounds can look fab on wedding videography

The norm when looking for a wedding venue is just that you will be finding a bespoke venue specialising in weddings, which may sound pretty obvious but booking a wedding venue isn’t necessarily the only option. Now of course not everyone may have the space or land to hold a wedding reception in their back garden but if you could, it may make a lot of sense. Erecting a large marquee doesn’t cost quite as much as you would think, plus you can choose the marquee you want and have a bit more of a say and input into the wedding reception decoration as you are kind of starting from scratch. Of course there maybe a bit more logistics involved in terms of catering, electric, organising some additional wedding suppliers that are covering what the wedding venue would have done, but…. it maybe cheaper than hiring a wedding venue overall. Overall as you are having more input into the wedding reception and party makes your wedding a little bit more bespoke to you as a couple and make your wedding videography all the more unique and about you not what everyone else may have at their wedding.

Drone Wedding Videography for Kayleigh & Jamie’s Wedding

I managed to capture some great drone shots for Kayleigh and Jamie’s wedding film. Some planned, some ad-hoc! As the wedding was held on the family's beautiful estate grounds it was great to capture this with the drone. This included the family home and the grounds where the wedding reception was held, plus getting some shots of the marquee from above really set the scene. The nearby church where the wedding ceremony took place also got a look in too. As churches are such old and grandiose buildings the drone really shows this off, giving a great sense of scale of their architecture that you just don’t get by a standard filming at ground level. You will have noticed also one of my favourite drone shots from Kayleigh & Jamie’s Wedding Video Highlights Trailer is a shot of one of the tractors early in the morning doing some final cutting of the grass which I spotted whilst filming the house. The tractor is quite key and symbolic of Jamie being a farmer plus also captured some of the natural flow of the morning and prep leading up towards the wedding, plus as ever the best way to video a wedding is just to let happen what’s meant to happen naturally and just film that, no posing needed!

Why booking just a wedding photographer is old hat and why you need a wedding videographer as well

Of course you are going to book a wedding photographer, that’s the norm and you definitely need one so that’s pretty straight forward. However, not booking a wedding videographer whether its me, Race Wedding Videography or someone else - could be a big mistake. If you dont book a wedding videographer you will be missing a lot. No wedding video, no wedding speeches, no sound or audio from your wedding day which sounds pretty obvious but remember you can’t listen to a wedding photo! Wedding Videography has a never ending shelf life too. Flowers die, the wedding cake and food gets eaten, you and your wedding guests will check out of your plush bridal party accommodation, the entertainment will have packed up and gone home, well I suppose you could put on your wedding dress and wander round the house in or go do the weekly food shop in it if you really wanted to but, well you get what I am saying. That leaves only your wedding photography and wedding videography left.

I know, I know, more money right? Well yes, its not free but comparatively to other wedding suppliers and wedding costs its probably a better investment. With the average UK wedding circa £32k plus setting aside just over 5% of your wedding budget for wedding videography isn’t too bad when you look at it that way!

Also with some new wedding video products I have launched the Outdoor Wedding Video Cinema that gives you and your friends/family a real movie & party experience post wedding and not forgetting the really popular Wedding Video Books mean you can re-live your wedding day in an instant as its start playing the moment you open your wedding video book.
