Some Bruisyard Hall History…
Bruisyard Hall was founded in 1354 by Maud, Countess of Ulster, and was home to many court ladies at the time. Set on a 700-acre estate, it remains the idyllic country retreat she aspires to. The hall was rebuilt by the Hale family after the dissolution of the abbey and contained a "priestly's hole" as they remained staunchly Roman Catholic under Elizabeth I. The owners are direct descendants of Sir Thomas Rouse, who inherited the Tudor house in 1611.
why SUFFOLK is a great spot to GET MARRIED!
Suffolk is famous for a host of creative and artistic personalities and celebs like John Constable, Thomas Gainsborough, Benjamin Britton and Ed Sheeran. So what makes Suffolk stand out as a great place to get married?
Over the years, fertile farmland and stretches of coastline have produced more than just pretty holiday and wedding photos. There are many familiar faces in this county. Writer George Orwell, TV host Brian Kantor, comedian Griff Rees-Jones, broadcaster John Peele, TV chef and author Delia Smith; actor Bob Hoskin Thomas, Joan Brown and Ralph Fiennes; composer Benjamin Britten, farmer and TV host Jimmy Doherty and model Twiggy are just a few of the names born or made a home in the county. Writer and director Richard Curtis reportedly own a fishing lodge in Walberswick, and musician Brian Eno was born in Woodbridge.
Lowestoft is where catsuit-wearing, high-note-hitting rocker Justin Hawkins and his bandmates shaped The Darkness. Furthermore, as we are never short of saying, vocalist musician Ed Sheeran hails from Framlingham, and even composed a melody about the town's twelfth Century palace. So if you are getting married in Suffolk you are never too far from a rock star or famous celebrity. Plus getting married is a bit like being a superstar for the day too, with your friends, family and of course paparazzi-style wedding photography and wedding videography!
In the event that you love chocolate (brides?) and lager (grooms?), Suffolk might well create a portion of your #1 things. The Muntons plant in Stowmarket makes the malt for the honeycomb habitats of Maltesers. The market town is likewise home to electrical firm Bosch and a Dulux paint plant. At a monstrous plant in Bury St Edmunds, sugar beet is transformed into white granulated and baking sugars under the Silver Spoon mark.
Furthermore, two significant brewers call Suffolk home: Adnams, situated in Southwold, and Greene King, in Bury St Edmunds. Aspall produces juice in a town of a similar name, and Copella makes natural product juice at its homestead in Boxford. Radar was created at Bawdsey Research Station, close to Felixstowe, which opened in 1936.
Ness Point in Lowestoft is the UK's most easterly point. Otherwise called Lowestoft Ness, the spot is set apart by a roundabout stone plaque that shows the distance to urban communities in Europe and Britain's other cardinal focuses.
Choosing the Right Videographer for Your Bruisyard Hall Wedding
Selecting the perfect videographer for your Bruisyard Hall wedding is a crucial decision that will capture the cherished moments of your special day. With so many options available, it's important to take the time to find a videographer whose style and approach align with your vision.
One of the first steps in choosing a wedding videographer is to review their portfolio. This will give you an insight into their previous work and help you determine if their style matches the aesthetic you have in mind for your wedding video. Look for consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in their past projects.
Equally important is understanding the videographer's approach. Do they take a documentary-style approach, capturing candid moments as they unfold? Or do they prefer a more cinematic approach, with carefully planned shots and artistic editing techniques? Consider which style resonates with you and reflects the atmosphere you want to create on your special day.
Additionally, don't hesitate to reach out and communicate with potential videographers. Ask questions about their experience, equipment, and how they handle different lighting conditions or challenges that may arise during a wedding. A good rapport with your chosen videographer is essential for ensuring a smooth working relationship on your big day.
By carefully reviewing portfolios and considering style and approach, you can confidently select the right videographer who will beautifully capture every precious moment of your Bruisyard Hall wedding.
